Mourinho Blames 'Bad And Dangerous' Pitch For Terry's Injury

Chelsea skipper, John Terry was stretchered off in the 72nd minute of Chelsea's champions league victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The 34-year-old availability is now in doubt for Chelsea's weekend premier league cracker against Tottenham Hotspur.
Speaking about the former England captain's injury, Mourinho blamed the pitch at the Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa for the injury.

The Chelsea boss had criticized the pitch even before the game as midfielder, Ramires got injured on it during training.

"The surface was bad and dangerous. For John to leave the pitch with the score at 1-0, I know already that he is in trouble.

"My medical department is really good. John is a special guy, with a special desire to recover

"But I don't believe too much that he can play (against Spurs). Ramires slid on the pitch and had a muscular injury."

John Terry will undergo a scan to ascertain the extent of the injury.
