Man Set To Travel From England To Nigeria On A Motorbike

A Nigerian based in the United Kingdom, Omo Alokwe is set to make a very daring and record-breaking mission a reality. He is set to embark on 40,000 miles journey from Land's End in England to Lagos,Nigeria.

If he is successful in this quest, Omo will hold the world record for the longest journey by motorcycle.
The current record is held by Indian, Manigandan Manjunathan from India. He covered about 23,761 miles after he rode throughout India from November 9, 2014, to February 15, 2015.

Omo Alokwe hopes to also raise awareness and funds worth up to £20,000 through this mission for medical aid organisation, Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) also known as Doctors Without Borders. He also hopes to meet new people in the different communities he will pass through.

He will set off on the 30th of November 2015 and will travel through 12 countries including Spain, Morocco, Western Sahara, Senegal, and Togo before arriving at his destination.
