26-Year-Old Excretes 30 Wraps Of Cocaine Aboard Qatar Airways Flight

A 29-year-old Nigerian fashion designer, Okechukwu Kingsley Ajaero has been detained by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for the possession and unlawful importation of cocaine.

Okechukwu who hails from Abia state was apprehended at Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos during inward screening of passengers who had arrived the country in a Qatar Airline flight.
According to the NDLEA Airport commander - Hamza Umar, the suspected drug  peddler who was returning from Sao Paulo, Brazil had defecated a total of forty-four (44) wraps of cocaine weighing 850grammes.

The suspect claimed it was his first time peddling drugs. He also revealed that he was meant to be paid 30,000 Euros while on transit in Qatar.

“I am a fashion designer by profession. I went to Brazil two years ago in search of better working conditions. This is my first time of trafficking in drugs and I got involved through friends.

“I was expecting 30,000 Euros as my profit. My business partner was to collect the drug from me while on transit in Qatar but he failed to show-up. I was compelled to come to Nigeria with the drugs but I excreted 30 on board the aircraft,” Okechukwu said.
