Mikel Obi Agrees Deal With U.A.E side, Al Ain

Skipper of the Ghanaian national team, Asamoah Gyan has revealed that Chelsea and Nigerian midfielder, John Obi Mikel will be joining him at Abu Dhabi side, Al Ain

While speaking to Metro TV, Gyan stated he heard the Nigerian had agreed a deal with Al Ain and will most likely be joining him in the UAE pro-league ahead of the coming season.

“I heard it this week that he has agreed terms with Al Ain and will most definitely be playing for us next season,”.“It’s great news for us because Mikel Obi is a very good player and very experienced."
“It will be exciting playing with him in the same team, because I believe both of us, with the help of our other colleagues, can do more for the club.”
Asamoah Gyan has been a success since moving to the Middle East from premier league club, Sunderland. John Obi Mikel on his part has spent more time on the bench in recent years than in the starting line-up.

Mikel has also been linked to Turkish clubs, Fenerbache and Galatasary this summer.
