NDLEA Vacates Kashamu's Residence

Officials of the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) who have laid siege on the Lekki Apartment of Ogun state senator-elect, Buruji Kashamu since last weekend have finally vacated the premises.
Few days ago, a court order instructed the armed NDLEA officials to vacate Kashamu's residence but they had refused.
Earlier today, Kashamu's counsel, Ajibola Oluyede stated that his client had been hiding in his bathroom since Saturday and could only communicate with him through a crack in the wall. According to Oluyede, his client's health was deteriorating fast.
Well, the NDLEA officials have now left the premises but this is definitely not the last we will hear of the attempted extradition of Kashamu to the United States for a drug-related case.
