“Voting is not by force, I can only appeal to people to vote for my husband and if they accept, they will vote for him. Politics come and go but Nigeria remains an indivisible entity which no one can play politics with.“I won’t play politics of bitterness with anyone because as you see Hajia Aisha Buhari is my sister and we will still be together after election.”
She also urged supporters of both her husband and the APC candidate, Muhammadu Buhari to avoid keeping malice because of the 2015 elections:
“No enmity between the contestants especially President Jonathan and General Buhari. Whenever they meet, they hug and play together. Then, why should their supporters keep malice because of them”.
